First report of male Iotonchus rotundicaudatus Pena-Santiago and Jimenez-Guirado, 1991 (Mononchida.Nematoda)

This is the first report of male lotonchus rotundicaudatus, found in district South 24-Parganas, West Bengal, India. It has long body (L = 1.9 - 2.3 mm), curved ventrally; iip region offset from body, buccal cavity broad (47 - 49.4 × 25.9 μm), dorsal tooth small, no sub-ventral tooth, amphid opening oval in shape, geusids prominent, pharynx long cylindrical, pharynx-intestinal junction tuberculate, cardia tongue-shaped; constriction at the posterior region of intestine; tail bluntly conoid, slightly curved ventrally, no caudal gland or spinneret opening, a hyaline cap-like structure at the tail terminus is prominent.
