1665: A YEAR IN THE LIFE OF SIR ISAAC NEWTON

In 1665 Isaac Newton, barely a 23 year old student came up with some extraordinary ideas and explanations connected to the physical world. In mathematics his two very important contributions came in that very year. He did all these things not as a member of a scientific group in a typical academic environment, but as a lone person in the quest for the laws of nature. A look at his contributions that came in that year just above three hundred fifty years back has been taken.
