A simple solution approach is developed for the deposition of CZTSSe films. Using ethylenediamine as the solvent, polyporous CZTSSe precursor films with high surface areas are obtained. After different post-treatments, the CZTSSe films are used as counter electrodes in dye-sensitized solar cells. The influence of the different post-treatments on performance of CZTSSe counter electrodes for dye-sensitized solar cells is evaluated. A high power conversion efficiency of 6.13% is achieved via a 10 min selenization post-treatment. This value is comparable with the efficiency of 6.20% obtained from the conventional Pt counter electrode.
