The reaction conditions of a celloxide 2021P epoxy resin with methylhexahydrophthalic acid (MHHPA) and a catalyst (1,2-dimethylimidazole; DMI) were studied using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The decided equivalent ratio of the composition was 1 eq:1.2 eq:2 wt% for the epoxy resin, MHHPA, and the catalyst, respectively. The kinetic studies of the epoxy composition were carried out by running DSC at different heating rates, and the calculated activation energy was 64 kJ/mol. Four diffe
