Arma Hobby has released an all new injection moulded kit of the TS-11 Iskra bis DF. Released separately is set #72078, a SO-3W engine set for the Iskra, consisting of six resin parts and eleven etched details on a small fret. At last the two 1/144 VC 10 kits are here. With its introduction in April 1964 the VC 10 became an immensely popular aircraft in the BOAC fleet both with passengers and crew, being particularly praised for its comfort and low cabin noise levels. It was BOAC's most successful aircraft in terms of passenger numbers carried. The VC 10 still holds the record for the fastest London to New York crossing of the Atlantic, of five hours and one minute. Other major users of the VC 10 were East African Airways and the Royal Air Force, the latter only withdrawing its last VC 10 from service in 2013.
