The Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk utility helicopter is a flexible and vital component of the US Army's inventory. As a modelling subject there are a wealth of kits available in most common scales from 1/72 through to 1/35 making a book such as this a vital resource. The books starts off with a description of the four variants covered, the A (Alpha), L (Lima), A+ (Alpha Plus) and M (Mike) versions as well as a Medivac helicopter. It then leads into a collection of walkaround images of each type, providing a great deal of the kind of detail that we modellers just crave, covering every angle, inside and out, including the engines and avionics as well as armament, support equipment, and crew in well over 400 photographs. All of the images are in colour and of a decent size and quality, making for an ideal reference source - especially as each image is joined by a caption that provides a thorough explanation. Well worth the cover price and the start of what should be a tremendous series of references.
