Increasing interest from major satellite players such as fleetoperator SES (EPA:SESG) and manufacturer Thales AleniaSpace is boosting the long-term outlook for flat-panelantennas (FPA).Other dynamics are likely to provide a lift to the sector,including the expectation of falling prices for the technology,new business models and recent investment. The trends oflarge satellite constellations and hybrid satellite orbits alsomesh with the development of FPA technology.
