This issue contains five articles that cover maintaining accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), information technology security, partnerships for regional economic performance, authentic leadership and trust, and a proposed innovative management model that has been tested in the classroom. Farmer and Abdelsamad, in the first article, suggest ways to improve the odds of maintaining AACSB accreditation. Once accredited, a school is subject to a review each five years. Information is provided about succeeding at the five-year mark versus having to face a sixth-year review. The authors speak from experience, having served on AACSB committees and peer-review teams (as team chairs or members) of many business schools (or programs) in the U.S. and globally. The article's factual data provided by AACSB as well as a checklist of do's and don'ts should be valuable to schools in preparing for the five-year review.
