A new gas detection system fromrnSea-Fire Marine is intended to prevent life-threatening emergencies by means of voice alerts, on-screen instructions and by isolating and activating individual onboard systems.rnThe EvrSafe Gas Detection System guards personnel against exposure to odourless gases that can lead to brain damage or death.rnThe system detects and measures a variety of toxic gases, including carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, hydrocarbons, LPG, butane and smoke and uses audio and visual alarms to alert crew and passengers before the gas reaches a problematic level.
