A new range of on-load release hooks for lifeboats comes complete with a training package. Schat-Harding's SeaCure hooks are compliant with pending revisions to SOLAS. "We have always said that the safety of on-load release hooks had three components: these are design, maintenance and training," said David Torres, sales director at Schat-Harding Service. "With this new hook we have designed it to be failsafe and we have designed out a lot of maintenance by making sure there is no wear and tear on the critical parts."
