Seagull's new piracy package

Computer-based training (CBT) provider Seagull has launched a completely new training package to assist seafarers facing pirate attacks.rnThe training specialist says it has developed a CBT module plus accompanying workbook, giving full procedural advice to assist crew preparedness for attacks by pirates. The package offers guidance on ways to reduce the possibility of pirates or armed robbers getting on board the vessel (including the use of special equipment to repel boarders), how to manage a situation where boarders gain access to a vessel, and how to react should pirates seize control of a ship and take hostages.
