Oil tank explosion results in deaths

Two welders were killed when an oil tank exploded on the Vietnam-registered tanker Hercules M on the night of 2 March. At the time of the explosion, the vessel was 3nm off the southern Malaysian coast, near the holiday resort of Kukup, according to news agency Bernama.rnTwenty-four-year-old Sylvester Keterim and Shezi Chang Shiah Joo, aged 22, both from Sabah, East Malaysia, were carrying out welding work on one of the ship's tanks when it caught fire.
