A push for efficiency in container supply could also mean a drive for safety and security, thanks to a new EU project aiming to increase efficiency in logistics services. The second set of field trial results from the research project funded by the EU and logistics stakeholders into door-to-door container management are due to be announced this month and the third phase will start in June.
