The double standards that put seafarers at risk

I fully agree with Captain KoiverakisAntonios (Tire for effect', SASI, April 2011) and his vision of the problem. The simple question any seafarer asks himself today is this: how it is that world powers on the other hand hesitate so little to use military force anywhere they like to fight so-called dictatorships, yet on the other hand, they fail to notice and fight a tiny group of bandits, which little by little has become the major threat to all seaborne trade in the Indian Ocean?
