Daina Shipping, a subsidiary of Greece's Costamare, has pleaded guilty to pollution charges after the Rena incident in New Zealand.Daina was fined NZ$300,000 ($246,000), half the maximum penalty, after accepting responsibility for the spillage of pollutants from the Liberian-flagged 3,032teu box ship in New Zealand's worst environmental disaster.
