A new video called Social Media at Sea from e-learning specialist Videotel addresses what the company describes as "the unique dangers of inappropriate use of social media by shipboard personnel". Videotel, bought in July by US firm KVH Industries for E28.7M ($48.9M), said its material provided simple solutions to ensure that seafarers understood the dangers, and benefits, of the onboard social media revolution.
