Sewol prosecutors go after dead owner's family

After confirming the death of the fugitive owner of the ferry Sewol, South Korean prosecutors have now turned their attention to his family. Yoo Byung Eun, 73, the owner of Chonghaejin Marine, had been wanted for more than two months as prosecutors sought to question him over alleged negligence relating to the 16 April sinking of Sewol. He faced embezzlement, malpractice and tax evasion charges. Yoo's body was found by police in a plum field in Suncheon City, South Jeolla Province, on 12 June. Due to decomposition of the body, his identity was only confirmed after DNA tests produced a match with his brother Byung Il, who was arrested for embezzlement on 16 June.
