Falkland Islands training trip

Glasgow-based Clyde Marine Training (CMT) has delivered two different security training courses for officers and crew members of the Falkland Islands fishery protection vessel, Protegat. CMT senior instructor Matt Horton last month made the 12,000km trip to the Falkland Islands to teach Proficiency in Maritime Security Awareness and Proficiency for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties courses. The training was requested by Falklands-based training company Invenio Falklands, which provides training for fishery protection vessel operator Galfishing.
