Offshore operators enhance their safety

In recent years - often in response to incidents involving significant loss of lives and money - many safety management systems have been developed for the marine and offshore sector. Some operators and representative organisations have also introduced their own safety systems to meet or exceed existing legal requirements - especially in the towage and offshore market, where some types and size of vessel can fall outside IMO regulations such as SOLAS.
