Mexico reports no spill after tanker fire

Environmental regulators in Mexico claim to have prevented an oil spill from a massive fire that broke out on a tanker operated by state-run oil company Pemex. The fire was reported on the morning of 24 September on the 2005-built Burgos while it was anchored 11 km off the coast of Boca del Rio, near the port of Veracruz, in the Gulf of Mexico.
