1. Alfa Laval PureBallast 3 is the third generation of Alfa Laval's ballast water treatment technology. It is an automated treatment solution that combines initial filtration with UV treatment. The filter and UV reactors are inline components, supported by a cleaning-in-place unit, a control cabinet, and one or more lamp drive cabinets. 1. The Aquastar BWMS is composed of a smart pipe unit, neutralisation unit, and control system unit. These components can be directly installed on the main ballast pipe line of the vessel. The Smart Pipe system prevents clogging of any debris and has an auto-cleaning function. 1. In-voyage solution that uses patented heat treatment technology (pasteurisation) followed by a deoxygeneration process. The pasteurising unit uses onboard waste energy from the main engine jacket cooling water or exhaust heat economiser.
