IOSH to commission new research on practitioner's competence...Members recognised in New Year's Honours...Pilot work experience scheme planned for 2005...JOSH president lobbies Welsh Assembly members. As the newest member of the presidential team, I join at a time of great movement and anticipation for IOSH. Our profession is well respected and people are listening to what we have to say, but we are on the cusp of so much more. Our communication activities are better focused and our dealings with the HSE are more purposeful. We are also starting to see more true partnership working, working which benefits all of us, not just one party.
