Failure to manage asbestos at school leads to big fines for three parties

A Northampton electrical contractor, a subcontracted Bedford asbestos removal firm, and its managing director have been fined a total of £100,000 plus costs of £45,000 after asbestos was released into the air at a girls' school in Kettering, forcing it to close for two terms.
