Progress at the World Congress

IOSH made its mark at the XIX World Congress of Safety and Health at Work, in Turkey, in September. A two-hour symposium, called 'Designing out the risk', was part of the Institution's New Accession Countries initiative, and it attracted around 130 delegates to the Halic Congress Centre, in Istanbul. Hundreds visited our stand, as staff from our international and policy teams spoke to counterparts from around the world, including OSH professionals and organisations from as far afield as Japan, Russia, Colombia, Korea, Macedonia and Peru.
