IOSH's 'Technicians' are now Technical members, after a renaming of the membership category. The Institution has made the change after listening to Tech members, who said the new title was a clearer, more precise description of who they are. IOSH executive director of membership Simon Bowen said: "This change came about in direct response to a large number of member requests. The designatory letters - TechlOSH - and the criteria for admission to this category of membership are unchanged.
