A long-range dynamical model of sunflower development is proposed, where photosynthesis, respiration, and growth are considered at the level of particular organs and the organism as a whole. All these processes depend on the influencing environmental factors: heat, humidity, and light. Mineral nutrition is assumed to be constant and sufficient for the growth. The model is aimed at the use of standard hydrometeorological information and is designed for the estimation of agrometeorological conditions of sunflower growth and seed productivity forecast. It can be also used to estimate the indicated processes from the point of view of plant physiology.
