New Findings of the Leatherback Turtle Dermochelys coriacea (Testudines: Dermochelyidae) in the Pacific Waters of the Kuril Islands

During the period from 1964 to 2007, three captures of the leatherback turtle Dermochelys coriacea were documented in the Pacific waters of the South Kuril Islands. All the captures occurred in the summer season at surface water temperatures of 11.0-12.2℃.
