Specific Features of Portland Cement Hydration in the Presence of Sodium Hydrosilicates

Specific features of hydration of a portland cement with addition of alkaline silicates and the ability of these additives to affect the concentration of hydroxide ions and Ca~(2+) ions in the liquid phase of the cement paste are considered.
