摘要

The basic relations under charging and discharging of a capacitor that accumulates energy from a current transformer are analyzed. The capacitor and the current transformer, together with a step-up switching regulator, constitute the power supply of an autonomous sensor installed on a high-voltage transmission line wire. The processes of charging and discharging the capacitor are controlled by the microcontroller of the sensor.
