Thermoreactive insulation system for high-voltage electrical machines

A semirigid system of thermoreactive coil insulation for high-voltage electric machines is proposed on the basis of two tapes: for insulation of the slot region, LSM tape based on modified epoxynovolac binder; for insulation of the frontal region and teads, LSG tape, which is elastic after hardening. The hardening of binder in the tapes and the influence of opeational factors on the electrical properties of full-scale oil insulation are considered.
