Peru Takes Delivery of Russian Mi-171s

Russian Helicopters has handed over the first three Mi-171Sh military transports to the Ministry of Defense of Peru. The full agreement, reached in 2010, calls for a total of six Mi-171Sh transports, with the remaining three scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2011. Russian Helicopters subsidiary Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant (UUAP) built the helicopters under a FSUE Rosoboronexport contract.
