Lutz Bertling to Exit Eurocopter, Move to Bombardier Transportation

Longstanding head of Eurocopter, Dr. Lutz Bertling, has announced his departure from the EADS division in favor of Berlin-based Bombardier Transportation, where he will take the top post of president and chief operating officer. The announcement is surprising in part because it came less than a week after Bertling made an appearance at Heli-Expo in Las Vegas, where he gave no indication of the move.
