摘要

Tritium separation characteristics by countercurrent H_2O/H_2S dual temperature process is studied for a two stage heavy water plant with a special configuration using a feeding equilibration column. Tritium concentration profiles obtained by computer steady state simulations at normal operation for heavy water production and at optimum conditions determined for tritium separation are shown. The enrichment of tritium that is obtained in a vacuum distillation plant for 99.80 % wt. D_2O nuclear quality production is confirmed by measurements in a pilot plant.
