摘要

Wet scavenging is the most important process by which atmospheric pollutants arc removed from the atmosphere and deposited to the ground. The aim of this work is to evaluate the ground deposition of the pollutants at different distances from a source. A Lagrangian long-range transport and diffusion model is used to simulate the effects of clouds and precipitation on the plume of pollutants under various meteorological conditions. The results show that in-cloud and below-cloud microphysical and chemical processes need to be subjected to different parameterizations.
