摘要

The European systems of education must face the challenge of the knowledge society and provide the young people the skills and the competencies required for the new culture and new economy. The future development of the society is influenced by the IT&C and R&D sectors. Both of them are already facing difficulties due to the lack of enough graduates. Additionally, a decreasing number of students in the high schools and in the universities are choosing scientific and technical subjects. One key role in redressing this situation could by undertaken by the teachers who need to modernize the systems of educations. The virtual instrumentation is part of this scenario. The paper is aiming to present the author's experience in the area of teaching "LabVIEW Programming", PC interfacing for virtual instrumentation and Computer Assisted Experiments in Physics.
