摘要

Experiments were performed in a concentric-tube airlift reactor on micropilot scale (V_L=0.07 m~3) with constant downcomer-to-riser cross sectional area ratio and riser-downcomer height, with two configurations of the gas- liquid separator. Reactor performance was highly dependent on the gas-liquid separator design. By changing the latter, the model of operation could be changed from that of a concentric-tube reactor (with gas recirculation) to an external-loop reactor (with less gas recirculation).
