Volvo FMX rigids tick all the boxes for Suttons Tankers

Suttons Tankers has taken delivery of 14 new Volvo FMXs, the first rigids to join its fleet. The order comprises a mix of seven 6×4 rigids and seven 8×4 tridems for use on the company's contract transporting sludge for Yorkshire Water. Supplied by Thomas Hardie Commercials, the 6×4s are powered by Volvo's D11K engine generating 380hp and up to 1,800Nm, while the 8×4 tridems benefit from the larger D13K engine producing 420hp and 2,100 Nm. Both use the automated I-Shift 12-speed gearbox and are mounted with bodywork by Crossland Tankers.
