Nine years for TV watching lorry driver

Lorry driver Viorel Sandulache, has been found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving and sentenced to nine years in prison. Abigail Harvey died after her car was struck by Sandulache's lorry on 3 November 2017 on the Dartford Crossing. In Maidstone Crown Court he admitted to "listening to" TV on his phone, but the judge was sure he was watching it.
