Visitors to the World of Concrete 2004 next month will be able to see if concrete looks any different under the Florida sunshine. The concrete industry will be gathering in Orlando for their biggest event of the year. World of Concrete expects to attract about 60,000 construction professionals to more than 1,500 exhibiting companies covering 700,000 sq ft of floor space. The show will be held, along with World of Masonry, Feb. 17-20 at the Orange County Convention Center. Nine topic tracks encompass 96 seminars, including 26 seminars that will be presented for the first time this year. (See accompanying sidebar for a complete list of seminars.) Seminars offer innovative ideas, tips and techniques to write winning bids, cut costs, save time, increase profits and build a business. Seminar participants attending four seminars in a specialized subject area or track are eligible for a Master Certificate.
