Monolithic proportions

Three GOMACO Commander Ills were at work on a 19-phase project in Palm Valley, Ariz. Petra Contracting was responsible for slipforming approximately 160,000 lineal ft of curb and gutter and monolithic sidewalk with curb and gutter. One Commander Ⅲ was responsible for the 6-in. vertical curb and gutter on the project. A second machine slipformed a monolithic 3-ft roll curb with a 5-ft-wide sidewalk. The third also was slipforming monolithic with a 2-ft roll curb and 5-ft-wide sidewalk. Three machines with three crews were all at work on the same project, at the same time.
