A culvert under the entrance to the Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) Stanton location was well past its prime and coming dangerously close to failure. It ran under the only road that entered the Stanton DOT yard, so digging and replacing the corrugated metal pipe (CMP) culvert was not an option. ISCO offered TxDOTs Odessa District a solution: A 20-in. high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe liner to slipline the culvert, thus eliminating the need to dig. The no-dig HDPE Snap-Tite culvert-lining pipe has a patented male/female machining at each end of the HDPE. It is "snapped" together, piece-by-piece, and pushed into the full length of an existing pipe. Any annular space and voids between the old culvert and new liner are filled in with grout. The pipe liner is available in lengths ranging 2-50 ft, and is available for culverts with diameters ranging 8-84 in.
