The newest addition to the Certified Cirus Control Systems (CCCS) snow-and-ice-removal product line is the EMC 1055 electric motor-control system. The all-in-one system provides both proportional control of the DC electric motors used to power liquid or granular spreaders and a ground-speed-oriented electronic spreader control system. The EMC 1055 system offers fleet managers an alternative to upfitting snowplow trucks with a central hydraulics system. The EMC 1055 system choice can result in reduced purchase, installation, operation and maintenance costs for truck applications ranging from landscaping to municipal snow and ice control.
