I found "A Primer Primer" article in the May/June issue interesting but confusing. I am developing .357 loads for my 77/357 Ruger bolt-action rifle. In the article, Mr. Simpson mentions using a standard primer with .357 and Vihtavuori N110 powder caused a stuck bullet with the powder not ignited but pushed against the back of the bullet. I ve been using VV N110 with standard Small Pistol primers for about six months (about 500 rounds) with no problems.
