Zero Degreeszedfactory's New Book Plots A Clear Route To Carbon Neutral Buildings

Within the ZEDfactory we have done a huge amount of research into how to build zero carbon developments. Our recent publication, ZEDbook, won the latest award for practice-based research in the RIBA President's Award for Research. So what does it set out to do? The ZEDbook is aimed at anyone who: 1. Is sick of endless checklists advocating sustainable development; 2. Finds that ever-increasing legislative standards and codes appear confusing and often contradictory; 3. Thinks the cost of environmental innovation seems prohibitive; 4. Finds commonly discussed solutions seem too difficult to apply; 5. Finds vested industry interests obscure a balanced sensible way forward; 6. Finds it always seems easier to pay someone else to neutralise their site's carbon footprint.
