IARIW- Statistics South Africa Conference on Experiences and Challenges in Measuring National Income, Wealth, Poverty, and Inequality in African Countries

In partnership with Statistics South Africa, the International Association of Research in Income and Wealth (IARIW) is organizing a conference on the theme of experiences and challenges in measuring national income, wealth, poverty, and inequality in African countries. The conference will take place in Cape Town, South Africa from September 28 to October 1, 2011. The objective of the conference is to further our understanding, from an empirical and measurement perspective, of developments in the area of income levels, income growth, productivity, poverty, and inequality in Africa.
