Y2K came and went without the world being sucked into another dimensional realm, though it left a lot of people with alot of bottled water and canned vegetables - of which they're still probably consuming to this day (remember, recycle those containers) - and now it was time to focus on what the new century would have in store for recycling. The following are some predictions for how materials recovery would fare in 2000.
