Crazy Crayons are made from 100-percent recycled crayons and are sold in standard and custom shapes and sizes. At Crazy Crayon's Minnesota headquarters, crayons collected from the company's national Crayon Recycle Program are melted down and re-molded to create new versions of the products. According to the company website, more than 92,000 pounds of used crayons have been collected from schools and educational organizations across the country. Reducing the landfilling of crayons remains a top priority for the firm as it continues to expand its collection of unwanted crayons and increase its recycling operations.
