One of the more interesting topics we cover here at the magazine is how to motivate more of the public to participate in recycling programs. I find it fascinating to see how we, as people, react to outside messages and how that affects our impulses. How do you get the public to notice a recycling bin placed in a hallway at the office, or by a departure gate in an airport or next to the Dumpster in the basement of an apartment building?
