AMUT will design, build and assemble a PET washing plant as part of an expansion of the Unifi plant in North Carolina producing the Repreve fabric, which is made from recovered plastic. The facility will use AMUT's patented dry de-labeling system for removing shrink sleeve wraps. Bulk Handling Systems, meanwhile, has been selected to design, build and install a front-end PET purification system at the facility.
