The nonprofit Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition (HFSC) has developed a 3-D animated movie to give homebuilders a better understanding of fire sprinkler installation in new houses. The comprehensive online presentation provides an interesting, behind-the-walls perspective of typicalrninstallations, and addresses water supply, system components and their function, and other aspects.rn"Our goal in developing this free tool was to provide an interactive presentation that would answer the most common homebuilder questions," says HFSC Chair Gary S. Keith. Production of the virtual movie was funded in part through a grant awarded through the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
